WordPress 3.3 takes on Tumblr

I like Tumblr too but let’s face it, the world is a better place because of WordPress. Now WP 3.3 gives you back the content that you own. I am not sure how bad it will hurt Tumblr but I believe it’s pretty big blow for them. For us it was really important to get back our content to control it and reuse it if needed. I hope it works…

"Because Tumblr's servers are often overloaded...". I bet they are now while we run this importer :-)

WordPress Calendar and Scheduler plugin

Just finished with our brand new wordpress plugin. This is awesome! I named it iPenelo Scheduler and Calendar. iPenelo is my own internet marketing company named after my daughter Penelope. I will tell you more about iPenelo some other day but let’s get to that powerful wordpress feature that I am so proud of :-)

This wordpress calendar plugin let’s you:

  • Set different categories for your events
  • Show your calendar as a list or as a calendar
  • Let’s you post calendar into as many pages and posts as you like
  • Attach a look and feel that matches your website or your style
  • Show thumbnails for events
  • Set different links for titles and for additional information
  • Import stuff into calendar via XML

  • Add beginning and ending time to events
  • Show the day icon before the date in a list view
  • If you are selling tickets to events (theatre, cinema, festival etc.) you can display a “buy” or “sold out” buttons with matching links.
  • You can use this wordpress plugin on your wordpress site as a personal scheduler or business calendar
  • You can modify the code to match your specific needs or hire us to help you out :-)

  • And much, much more

I am thinking that this is the best wordpress calendar plugin out there. It’s not officially out yet but if you contact me then you’ll get it :-) . I am not able to give it away totally free though but I promise whatever the cost, it will be totally worth it.
